IPL is expected to start from March 29 but there is news that the series may get postponed due to pandemic coronavirus.
But, if the IPL goes as scheduled, the first match is between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians. Hence, Dhoni is preparing himself to take on the first match. Dhoni is enjoying some time away from the game. The last match played by him was in 2019 which were the matches of the competitive world cup.
Dhoni made slow approaches while batting in the world cup matches played on behalf of India and due to it, he had to face a lot of criticism. Major drawbacks were noticed in the semi-final games against England and New Zealand.
Earlier in this year, he couldn’t find his name enrolled in the player’s list that is centrally contracted by the BCCI. The list of the players was revealed by the board for the period of October 2019 to September 2020. This time he is sure to make a great comeback and fight for his home country.
