Live scorecard and ball-by-ball details

Royal Challengers Bangalore won the toss and opted to bowl against Delhi Daredevils, as they chase a top two points-table finish, at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. Virat Kohli said that although the venue had provided an unusually dry surface, his team preferred to chase as there was wet weather expected later in the game. Daredevils, who are out of playoff reckoning, would have liked to chase as well for similar reasons.

Albie Morkel sat out the final match of the season for Daredevils due to illness to allow Angelo Mathews back into the XI. Royal Challengers were unchanged from the side that beat Sunrisers Hyderabad on Friday.

If the match is a no-result due to weather, Royal Challengers have a chance of finishing in the top two, provided the game between Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad is also washed out.
