Mohit Sharma feels that Domestic Players will help Delhi Capitals succeed

Mohit Sharma is a medium pacer and a new recruit. Delhi Capitals feels that he is a string added to the team and he will play a key role in the IPL this time with his right blend of youth and experience. Delhi Capital is one of the strong Indian core group as it has all the best domestic players. The players of this team include Shreyas Iyer, Shikhar Dhawan, Rishabh Pant, Ishant Sharma, Prithvi Shaw, Ravichandran Ashwin and Amit Sharma as well in the side. 

When it comes to winning IPL, the performance of the domestic players is what matters the most and they help a team to succeed. Mohit says that according to him Delhi Capitals has the strongest bunch of players this time. It has just the right combination of youth power and experience at the same time.

Mohit Sharma was purchased by Delhi Capitals for an auction price of 50 lakhs last year after he was released by Chennai Super Kings. He also says that even last year, Delhi Capitals was the strongest contender as it had plenty of young potentials to fight the battle against different franchises. Mohit Sharma is much optimistic that this year DC will perform the best. 

Mohit has been playing cricket at Kotla since the age of 16. He considers Kotla as his home ground as he hails from Haryana. He expressed his pleasure that he will again get a chance to play at his home ground and is very happy that he has been selected by Delhi Capitals at the auction. 

Mohit Sharma underwent surgery recently and he is getting trained at the National Cricket Academy post-surgery. He is also looking forward to having a great time with the head coach of Delhi Capitals Ricky Ponting.
